Starting on Monday cancer patients in the Mat-Su Valley will be able to be treated closer to home. “It’s an hour each way and so I mean I think right there that’s a huge benefit,” Dr. Clare Bertucio who is the Medical Director at the Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center said.
The Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center plans to provide a comprehensive cancer feel for all types of cancer patients, without them having to travel to Anchorage or outside the state, starting with their brand new CT Scanner and External Beam Radiotherapy.
